Recomended bathroom fitters in the Hayes, Ruislip, Ealing Greenford Area or thereabouts?

Can anyone personally recommend a reliable company, person,(qualified) to remove existing old bathroom and do the whole job from ordering, delivering, installing etc in a few day at a reasonable price. I want a very simple old bathroom made new, but money is tight.|||We live in Ealing had two pieces of work done in the last couple of years, upgrading a downstairs cloackroom/W.C. and guest bedroom en suite. Although neither quite does the whole thing of taking total ownership of all the buying the following two companies seem to provide a really good overall service.

We use Phoenix Services (Ickenham) to do the work, - email phoenixsvcs@hotmail.com ... I've had a look and they don't have a website, small company that has been extremely reliable and helpful, they can give you lots of advice about things you haven't considered if you contact them early in your planning. They will certainly do things like hire a mini skip and take your old stuff away as well as installing hardware, plumbing, tiling, replastering. They have specialists for the different tasks. These guys have been around for years, are courteous and efficient. I've recommended them to friends and family and not regretted it.

Not sure how they stack up price-wise, we were just happy to find someone we felt was trustworthy and we've stuck with them. Worth discussing your budget up front maybe.

For supplies we mainly use Bathwise on Northfield Avenue ... good selection on show, tons of brochures and again, their people will sit down patiently and go through what you want to buy.

The nice thing that we have found is that Phoenix and Bathwise can work well together, and arrange delivery at sensible times, like when the Phoenix guys are around, even if you are out - they can sort this out between themselves if you let them, so the bath can get delivered at just the time Phoenix need to install it and you don't end up with a bath hanging around in your garden (or bedroom) for a day ...

Phoenix have done the buying of some items for us, but I think the choice is more limited as they deal with a small number of suppliers in that way - their prime business is the installation and fitting Though they will physically get the goods if necessary, the purchase ends up between you and their supplier (so they don't end up in the middle if you have a hardware guarantee issue for example). This is a good thing, I think. Phoenix work is guaranteed/warranteed and they are happy to pop back in and help tweak things if something isn't quite right after they have left.

Also helpful as suppliers are:

M B S Manufacturing Ltd

220 Uxbridge Road

Southall, UB1 3DZ

Near the Ironbridge junction on Uxbridge Road. They always seem ready to discount from any price they start at ... maybe worth looking at if, as you say, money is tight. You can get the phone number by lookling up on BT.com

Overall I'd say "start with Phoenix" and take it from there ... they may suggest other suppliers closer to you if you are outside the Ealing/Southall area.

Hope all this helps|||Check out this builder guide.
