How do I clean bathroom granite that liquid soap has absorbed into it?

We just bought this house and the people before half assed all the "updates" and I am sure they didn't seal the granite in the bathroom. A bottle of liquid soap leaked onto the granite and now I have a big stain. Is there anything that will lessen the stain and if I seal it now, will that stained section seal? It is black with white speckles and the stain really shows.|||You can have a professional granite cleaner come out %26amp; do it; or you can try a poultice. You can buy poultices at any stone /tile center. You apply %26amp; cover with saran wrap %26amp; hope it draws out the stain. However, even sealed granite may stain some if something is allowed to sit for long enough.|||Nail polish remover and flour will remove that stain for you. Take a look at www.nsraweb.com/forums they have a lot of cool tricks when dealing with stone.

|||try soaking a hot rag on the stain and hopefully that will expand the granite enough for most of the excess soap to rise and be wiped and rinsed off
