Who Do You Interact With Someone Who Calls You a Whore to Your Face?

This guy and I were really good friends in school last year. He was really nice and sweet and I considered him one of my best friends. But torwards the end of the school year, he started telling all of his friend that I would repeatadly flash him (which I did not). When I confronted him about it, he propmtly apologized but continued to do it. It then got to the point where he actually told his friends that I snuck him into the girls bathroom where we did it (this is definitly NOT TRUE. I mean seriously, I was only n 6th grade!!). We ended the school year on bad terms. This school year (I'm now in 7th grade), it has gotten much worse. He is now telling people that I raped him in the bathroom. He calls me a slut and a whore to my face. He even tells me that I'm a "future porn star". In English class today, we switched seats so now I sit next to him. I really want to take the high road in this and still be nice/civil torwards him. How do I do this when I have to listen to him constantly degrade me throughout class?|||You do not have to tolerate this verbal ABUSE. Tell a teacher.
